Updated Uniform Decision

Based on the decision at the school board meeting on 07/02/25, students at Long Middle School and New Heights Middle School will not wear school uniforms for the 2025-2026 school year. Students must adhere to the district’s dress code outlined in the student handbook. Updated guidelines for the dress code will be in the new student handbook on the district’s website as soon as it becomes available.

End of Year Awards May 20, 21, 22

Any students who were at school for every SC Ready test may dress down for free May 19-23, except for Awards Days. Students should plan to dress up or wear a school uniform for their grade level awards day ceremony. (Examples for dress up: length of dresses should be below the finger-tip; open-toed dress shoes are allowed on dress up days; No halter tops, crop tops or spaghetti straps; Dress pants; dress shirts; dress shoes; khaki or navy bottoms with a dress shirt.)
