All students attending the convention are required to attend this meeting with a parent/guardian. Parents, please park behind the school near the cafeteria. Important information will be distributed regarding the convention. Students working on projects will meet with their sponsor from 3:30 until 4:30pm. All students and sponsors will report to the cafeteria at 4:30pm for the meeting.

Early dismissal at 11:30am on Friday, December 20. Students will return on Monday, January 6. Have a happy and safe winter break. See you next year!

NHMS Jr. Beta Club is sponsoring a toy drive. New toys only please. Do NOT wrap the toys. Items should be turned in to Mrs. Whitley Funderburk from December 2 - 17.

Any 6th, 7th or 8th grade students interested in participating should plan to meet in Mrs. Kingen's room this Thursday, December 5 from 3:30 until 4:00pm. Please make sure your ride picks you up on time.

NHMS will host a Veteran’s Breakfast on Tuesday, November 12. We invite veterans to join us in the cafeteria from 8:30am until 9:00am. Following breakfast, we will move to the Gym where students will hear veterans share their personal experiences during their military service. Any veteran who would like to join us for breakfast and participate in our special program, please call the school at 843-658-6830. This event is sponsored by our Social Studies Department, lead by 8th grade SS Teacher, Mrs. Kristen Kingen.

Students MUST have a current physical on file with the school before participating in tryouts. If you have questions, please contact our Athletic Director, Mr. Reginald Dye.

Students who maintained good behavior and good grades during the 1st Nine Weeks will be allowed to participate in the celebration.
