New Heights Academic Team competed in the Pee Dee Regional Academic Challenge Tournament at Francis Marion University on February 25.

NHMS will host a Veteran’s Breakfast on Friday morning, November 18. We invite veterans to join us in the Media Center, beginning at 8:30am. Any veteran who would like to join us for breakfast, please call the school at 843-658-6830 to RSVP by Nov. 15. This event is sponsored by our Social Studies Department, lead by 8th grade SS Teacher, Mrs. Kristen Kingen.

The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office will sponsor National Night Out on September 20 from 6:00 until 8:00pm at Jefferson Recreational Field. Please make plans to come out and participate in the event.

School Pictures are scheduled for Thursday, October 6 during Elective Classes. 6th and 7th grade students who purchase a package will be allowed to dress down (you must follow the school district dress code policy). 8th grade students are encouraged to dress up for pictures. Order forms have been passed out to students in their homeroom classes. The online order information is included in the attached pictures. Virtual students should contact Mrs. Medlin to schedule a time to come in on Oct. 6 to have their picture taken. Virtual students are expected to follow the school district dress code policy. If students bring a payment with the order form, the exact amount due must be in the envelope. The photographer will NOT have change available on picture day.
