Teacher Appreciation Week is May 3 - 7

Teachers received special notes from students all week. "Thank You" to all the individuals and businesses who made contributions to show support for our school. Click link above for the full story. Our staff member of the month, Mrs. Crystal Rollins is always helpful in anything she can do for the school. She does more for the school than people realize. She does a great job maintaining accurate student records and data so our school can run smoothly. Her positive attitude toward helping out the school in any way she can makes New Heights a great place to work. Our Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Carrie Williams is the Reading Specialist for the school, but she does so much more. She has a great rapport with both staff and students. She's always willing to help the school in any way. Our teachers are fortunate to have Mrs. Williams supporting them in so many ways. Congratulations, Mrs. Rollins and Mrs. Williams!

Virtual students will Map Test during the week of April 12th.

Click link above for details. Students with a last name starting with the letters of the Alphabet A through L will Test on Monday, April the 12th and Wednesday, April 14th from 8:30 to 10:30 am. Students with a last name starting with the letters of the alphabet M through Z will test Tuesday, April 13th and Thursday, April 15th from 8:30 to 10:30. Make-up Testing for Virtual students will be Friday, April 16th from 8:30 to 10:30. Parents will begin dropping students off in the back of the school at the cafeteria entrance beginning at 8:00 am. Parents will pick students up at the cafeteria entrance in the back at 10:30. Please be here by 10:30am to pick your child up. If students finish early, they will be able to call their parent to come pick them up earlier. Map testing is mandatory for all students. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to accomplish our mandated task during this pandemic.
