Any 7th or 8th grade student interested in joining the Central High School Colorguard can sign up on the bandroom door. You should also take a flyer with tryout dates and other important information. The colorguard learns dance and flag routines and performs with the Central High Marching Band. You do not have to be a band member to tryout.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this great cause! Nicole Hall's 6th grade homeroom won the school-wide homeroom competition.

Drop your spare change in the box in homeroom. Collection date March 14. Winner announced March 15. School-wide Dress Down $2 donation - all proceeds to Relay for Life. Students encouraged to wear purple, but not required. Those wearing purple on March 16 will be invited to be in a group picture. Winning Homeroom will receive (click link above for details)

Students qualifying to attend the Celebration Dance in the gym will receive a $2 coupon to redeem for concessions. Admission to the dance is Free. If students want to get more items from the concession stand, they should plan to bring money with them.

LifeTouch will be at NHMS on January 27 to take pictures of Athletic Teams. The LifeTouch Picture Day ID: NR016144X0. Parents can order athletic pictures online using the link provided.

Pay $2 on Monday. Wear jeans / Top must represent either Clemson or Alabama. Your top can have team name or wear team color. All proceeds go to Relay for Life. You must wear Clemson or Alabama colored top to participate in the dress down.

Monday, January 9th after school from 3:30 until 4:30pm. Parents should plan to attend. We will discuss schedule, dress code and conduct code. All final projects for competitions are due by January 9 to Laura Miller or Karen Brock. Please review the guidelines for your specific project. You must make sure all guidelines are followed, before you turn in the final project. Otherwise, you will lose points during judging or you can be disqualified from the competition.
