Thank you to all the young ladies who participated in the pageant. Thank you to Ms. Stephanie Terry for coordinating the pageant and to all the individuals who assisted her. Flu shots offered to students at NHMS: This week, your child will bring home a letter from DHEC announcing that flu vaccines will be given at NHMS for those students interested in receiving them. The vaccine will be in SHOT form this year instead of the mist form. The letter outlines the cost of the shot and provides you with a contact phone number if you have additional questions about the vaccine. If you are interested in having your child receive the flu shot at school, please fill out the form attached to the letter and have your child return it to his/her homeroom teacher by November 22. The shots will be given before December 16th. You will be notified of the exact date and time.

Thursday, November 17 at 6:00pm in the cafeteria. Don't miss this special event hosted by Northeastern Technical College! The Industry Panel Discussion will provide parents and students with valuable information about job opportunities in our area, advancements in technology, employer expectations and workplace trends. NETC faculty will be available to meet with parents and students following the presentation.

Drama Club presents Alice in Wonderland. Wednesday, November 16 at 6:00pm in the cafeteria. Everyone is invited. Join us for this special presentation by the Drama Club.

Induction Ceremony for 7th graders is scheduled for Monday, November 14 at 6:00pm in the cafeteria. Students being inducted should arrive by 5:30pm. Students are encouraged to dress up. Please follow the school district dress code. Lead Sponsor, Mrs. Laura Miller.

We would like to express our appreciation to Veteran's and the men and women who currently serve to protect our freedoms. If you have served in the military or you are currently serving, please contact our school and let us know if you can attend 843-658-6830. We hope to see you on November 14 at 8:30am.

SC has been devastated by the effects of Hurricane Matthew. Our neighbors need help. NHMS wants to show support and teach students about giving back to the community. We have a Grade-Level Competition - the grade level collecting the most points for their donations of new items will win a "Field Trip" to the SC State House and State Museum!
