As we are operating on a 2 hour delay tomorrow, October 11, New Heights will be open at the regular time for those students that may need to be dropped off early.

CCSD will be closed Monday, October 10. All principals, District administrators, custodial staff and maintenance staff should report as normal. All CCSD employees scheduled to attend an OEC activity do not have to attend, but have the option if they so choose. The session at Chesterfield High has been cancelled. Please be safe. We will keep you posted as we are provided additional information.

Our Anti-Bullying Campaign Kickoff event will be held Tuesday, October 11 at 2:00pm in the Gym. Our special guest speaker will be Mr. Craig Boykin, well-known author and motivational speaker. Mr. Boykin grew up in a single-parent home in a poverty stricken area. Facing many struggles through his adolescent years including his involvement in risky behaviors, Mr. Boykin clearly understands the pressures faced by children and teenagers today. He understands what it means to “hit rock bottom.” He will share his determination to rise above the negative influences and create his own personal pathway to success. Mr. Boykin travels all over America to share his story with others in hopes of providing encouragement and motivation for individuals who are facing struggles in their life. Join us Tuesday, October 11 at 2:00pm.

A sign-up sheet has been placed outside Ms. Mangum's door (Ms. Terry's door) on the Blue Hall for any girl interested in participating.
