Youth Day & Step Competition for October 15 - Cancelled Youth Day and Step Competition at the Bernie Hope Center in Sumter, SC has been cancelled for this Saturday, October 15, due to weather. The New Heights Steppers will NOT be in competition this weekend due to weather related complications in the Sumter area.

CCSD Closed Monday, October 10 CCSD will be closed Monday, October 10. All principals, District administrators, custodial staff and maintenance staff should report as normal. All CCSD employees scheduled to attend an OEC activity do not have to attend, but have the option if they so choose. The session at Chesterfield High has been cancelled. Please be safe. Anti-Bullying Kickoff - October 11 Our Anti-Bullying Campaign Kickoff event will be held Tuesday, October 11 at 2:00pm in the Gym. Our special guest speaker will be Mr. Craig Boykin, well-known author and motivational speaker. Mr. Boykin grew up in a single-parent home in a poverty stricken area. Facing many struggles through his adolescent years including his involvement in risky behaviors, Mr. Boykin clearly understands the pressures faced by children and teenagers today. He understands what it means to “hit rock bottom.” He will share his determination to rise above the negative influences and create his own personal pathway to success. Mr. Boykin travels all over America to share his story with others in hopes of providing encouragement and motivation for individuals who are facing struggles in their life. Join us Tuesday, October 11 at 2:00pm.
Spirit Ring Order Due - October 12 Jostens representatives will return on October 12 at 8:30am. Any 8th grader ordering a Spirit Ring must have order form and $40 deposit (cash, check or credit card accepted).
